The Client:

Born from Matt and Dave’s vision of creating a different training experience to gymgoers the Unit 7 Gym opened its doors in 2016. With a unique atmosphere and large range of products the gym not only offers customers with all the tools they need but also provides a 24/7 service, being opened around the clock and every day of the week. Since then Unit 7 has seen it’s popularity increase to the point where it has become the leading independent gym in Exeter.

The Project:

With part of the gym previously fitted, Matt and Dave were looking to add to their gym and make use of the space in their facility. The ERA-FIT team were then tasked with designing premium quality training areas that fitted the needs of the gym and made use of the training spaces in the most efficient way. It was also extremely important that the design would complement the current facility design and match the vision of Dave and Matt for U7 moving forward. To add to the challenge the project had to meet a close deadline before the launch of the gym’s then new 24/7 service.

The Solution:

Following initial conversations it was obvious ERA-FIT’s bespoke systems were the ideal solution to efficiently make use of the training area and provide premium new equipment for the customers. Collaborating with Matt and Dave the ERA-FIT team created a bespoke design incorporating 4 ERA-FIT Power cages and one Functional rig combined with monkey bars and boxing bag hanger. After Matt and Dave’s approval of the design the team then installed the bespoke gym products meeting the time constraints without compromising ERA-FIT’s premium quality standards.
